About the Ozark Mountain Prayer Breakfast
Updated: Feb 3, 2022
Every year, thousands of Branson locals gather together to celebrate the National Day of Prayer.
The Annual Ozark Mountain Prayer Breakfast is hosted by the Branson Christian Business Men's Committee and is a part of the national CMBC, a movement of men dedicated to prayer while sharing the gospel and hope of Jesus Christ with business men and women throughout the Ozark Mountain Area. This committee was first gathered in 1993 by Don Gabriel, the father of Doug Gabriel. After nearly 7 years of regular meetings, the Ozark Mountain Prayer Breakfast was hosted for the very first time. Since 2001, this event has grown from 250 people to over 1,200.
"It has become an event that the community looks forward to and reminds everybody the reason we are here and what is special in the Ozarks." - Mike Pitman, Branson CBMC
